The Bobby Jones Clover Whiskey Collection was proud to be included in the Bobby Jones Classic for CSF by hosting a pre-release tasting of The Clover Whiskey. The event participants celebrated the life of Bobby Jones and helped generate new awareness of Chiari malformation, syringomyelia, and related causes of paralysis. Bobby was diagnosed with syringomyelia and spent the last twenty-five years of his life with progressive paralysis.

This event provides a unique opportunity to become immersed in the classic life, legend and sport of Bobby Jones at the legendary East Lake Golf Club, Jones’ home course. Participants got to meet Bob Jones IV, grandson of the legendary golfer; Sid Matthew, famed Jones historian and author of The Life and Times of Bobby Jones; and Charles Harrison, nine-time former Atlanta amateur golf champion and a member of the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and Georgia Golf Hall of Fame.

In addition, experience the thrill of playing Hole 11 at East Lake, with Hickory shafted golf clubs, the same type of clubs that Bobby Jones carried during his remarkable 1930 Grand Slam.
